Only twentyfive weeks til the Money Business Summer Solstice party at Southend(Nr Campbelltown) on the 21st and 22nd of june. A beautiful sandy beach with views out toward Ireland and a 700watt PA and lighting rig with all the house techno and trance that you could ask for.

is this southend scottland ,,not essex? .. i would imagin so as southend essex is on the east coast and island is off the west ..:laugh_at:…shame it’s too far for me .. sounds like a nice do .. but i must warn you that even if the land owner has given his permission thats not a garentee that it’s legal you need a TENS or other lisence .. check this stuff out befor you post details of an event as it may be the undoing of the very event you are tring to premote ..:wink: .. but it looks like you know what you are doing so i’ll leave it to you:laugh_at:

it is Southend in Scotland. I’ve heard many Essex counties refuse to license dance music events, they are still angry over the whole Leah Betts incident plus the Basildon MP and that “cake” incident from Brasseye!

They also have their own legal system out in Scotland, which may mean this is actually legal or at least tolerated.

bear in mind Scotland is a wild place with a less dense population, and free parties are still only illegal when they actually bother someone!

yeah i did think that when i was typing that post .. but i wasn’t 100% sure it was the scotish southend…. i know about essex police ..i live at the essex/london border …. that why i put the warning …. it’s just theres a place called southend in essex as you might know 😉

TBH I did think that myself initially (that it was in Essex) and was actually gonna put a follow up to that post pointing out it was in Scotland!

There are actually loads of duplicated place names across the UK (some often close to one another) so its always worth checking the location of any unfamiliar venue…

yeah i thoguht that was camberwell when i first read it … and i think thats close to southend in essex .. then i read it properly and saw it was campbell and looked up where that was and figured it all out eventualy :laugh_at:
