I agree with the small is beautiful thing – we ahve been running a rig for 3 summers now and generally have between 200- 400 at our parties. Gotta say i dont particulary want them to get much bigger – we have got to the point now where we dont ahve to worry much abt getting enough peeps have a hard to shut down and friendly, buzzing party.

Only done a few multiriggers, and whilst we will be looking to get to a moot or teknival in Uk nxt summer, am yet to be convinced that they are sustainable really – there seem ot be so many rigs that obsessed with being the loudest thing ever, and when u put 10 or more of them in a field in this tiny country we live in, u are bound to piss a lot of pple off. Even if the party gets away with running all w/end due to its size, it will surely only make it harder to do the next year, and the next, and only makes it more likely that govt. will pass ever more repressive laws – might start getting very hairy going to big parties once we all have ID cards, satellite road toll charging etc

Puzzled tho why Labour has taken such a tough line on free parties tho – tightening up CJA and ASOB thing – didnt think there was enough national media hysteria recently abt parties to goad them into action? Might be wrong tho..? Whatever the case, i am so dissillusioned with ‘New labour’ it is unreal – fucking worse than the tories – IMPEACH BLIAR!!! (i say)

…and it don’t matter which party is in government-they all stink. vote loony party-that’ll sort it out.
