Future drugs bill (My slightly scary vision)
Summary:
Weed, mdma, cocaine, ketamine, The RCs aswell.
made legal by the government under certain conditions.
All drug production is handed over to pharmaceutical companies
who can make the drugs and ensure quality, They can tailor the drugs to contain specific tracker molecules which would differentiate between legally purchased drugs and illegally trafficked drugs
The drugs companies will provide dosage information and health risks.
Public must register for a drugs licence (must be 18 & sign a contract stating what they must not do if they wish to keep their licence)*1. A special photo i.d. The government love databases, how could they say no?
Allowing them to buy a set weight of drug and if searched by the police, it will show that they have permission to carry the drugs found on their person if they are within a maximum weight limit for that drug.
Drugs will be priced at roughly the street value of the drug, most drug takers would choose the legal root if given a choice i think.. ..
The pharmacys will have a fixed cost per unit of substance, the remaining will be divided between nhs funding & research into the drugs.
Gaining a licence will be as hard as getting a passport
This wouldn’t stop drugs coming into the country necessarily, but would reduce demand, potentially making some supply routes into the UK would become less attractive to suppliers, which would reduce the amount of “dodgy” gear on the streets
*1 eg. if they are using drugs with people that do not have licences they risk losing their own. they must not drive etc..
My vision-ish, hope i did not offend anyone, nite
I had the drug license idea too! Fucking genius!
there’s a much simpler way to achieve decriminalisation – all the authorities need to do is use existing challenge 21 type laws and PASS cards to ensure not too many underage users got substances from legit outlets – and to not bust people for non-problematic use but if people did a actual crime like driving under the influence or being violent/anti social on drugs, they’d get busted both for that crime and also for the former posession (as if drugs were still “illegal”)
I reckon this could be done today without overtly breaching the UN anti-drugs rules!
all this about the gov banning legal highs.
what good do they think that will do?
really think they should leave them alone
almost half of violent crime is alcohol related
c’mon u fucking idiots in charge, sort it out
its all a load of bullshiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
maybe its because beer can be made here but kratom can only be imported from thailand pour example :p
the gov have got it all wrong
spike the commons food with mdma mabye?

haha nice idea, that would be fun to watch!
they wont ever stop the use of recreational drugs, the sooner they realise that the sooner they can start moving on and actually think of a way to at least control the quality of gear on the streets. most of the health issues surrounding drugs these days is more to do with the shit its cut with than the actual product in question.
they should give everyone in the HOC acid and film what happens
its a difficult one,
partly becuase the uk is so broken at the moment i’m not sure legalising drugs would be effective in curbing crime. Although it might mellow people out a bit due to smoking weed.
Can you imagine ecstasy being used on the scale that alcohol is? Crazy! Maybe there just needs to be good, solid education on drugs from a very young age and then leaving it up to that person to decide. However – to do this there needs to be a law which includes a generation gap to come into force – i.e. all 8 year olds from now
sounds crazy but I don’t see legalising drugs as the right thing to do, not all drugs anyway. I think it would just spurn off a new illegal market cos drugs like coke and mdma were completely watered down and taxed!!
Its a very difficult one, I love sniffing coke but have to think that its probably gone from kids in fields picking leaves through gang murders and into the UK… dodgy one.
Perhaps decriminalising is the way forward….. if your talking from a political point of view and wanting to heal crime… but things are ok the way they are now I think (if you think about it rationally)
Though I do indeed think some reclassification is in order of the drugs act!
I love a bit of Meph on a weekend, but now it’s getting stupid, people in my brother’s school are taking it now (around the age of 15) thats bad lol. I think laws on Meph need to be sorted ASAP.
I’ve been taking anabolic steroids for about 10 weeks now, and the whole “roidrage” thing is bullshit imo, but then I guess it depends a lot on the person as well. I think steroids should be totally legal.
Peace.
