anyone remember it. used to love thqt stuff. remember as a kid drinking shit loads of the stuff trying to get drunk. but would just feel very sick:yakk:

cant seem to find any info on the net about it tho , not even any pics. seems like they just disappeared of the face of thy planet.

you are right; there is very little info about the stuff which is surprising given our trend towards 70s/80s nostalgia.

it was around until about 1994 or so. When Nirvana appeared on Channel 4 one of their conditions was that they were supplied with 3 cans of top deck shandy….

I remember sweet cigarettes being sold until the late 1980s ; until the politically correct mob put a stop to this. it appears though that they were sold in Scotland until very recently!

(they still exist but are now called “candy sticks”)

The other sweets I’m on about though were brown squiggly things shaped like baccy. No one seems to remember them apart from me. Maybe it’s my age:groucho: :groucho:

Hey I bet those footie cards a worth a few quid now.:wink:
I used to collect the packs of footie cards (always accompanied by a piece of bubble gum) from the seventies and sold them to a collectables shop in Manchester for a fair few quid.:weee:
