I’ve just received a text message from a friend telling me that some complete shitferbrains cuntbag idiot has put an advert on a message board of a local nightclub’s website advertising my free party. I’ve had the post removed and posted a ‘Party Cancelled’ topic immediately, but I’m worried the damage is done. Am I being over paranoid or should I call it off/ relocate?

really depends on how much traffic the site recieves / how long it’s been there

there was 83 replies for the original post! the guy gave the date, and his own email address. Ive no idea who this guy is but everything he said about the party was exactly right. He’s even organised a coach to go down to it!!!!

I’m leaning towards changing the venue but my associate doesn’t think we need to.

Did they give a location (approximate or otherwise)?

If he did then move it quick sharp. If he hasn’t then it still rings alarm bells but you should be ok as long as you don’t relate anything back to that post (eg massive banners with your crews name etc).

Inform this idiot that he could get you in to a lot of trouble though with chat like that.

they didnt mention it although a lot of them mentioned going to one we organised close to there last year so they know roughly where it is. Its not just the fact that the police might find out about it, this message board is for a shitty commercial club attended by the ben sherman brigade and there is generally violence outside it. These people who are talking about coming to our party represent a group of people who have ruined parties in the past and I dont want to risk ruining ours.
