i think thats a big “hint” to move the party elsewhere..it costs money to move rocks about like that!
face up to it trefil got rinsed this season – I only went to the big one where all the crews from England went up to but I’ve heard of a few others going on this summer
each time you do it there is bare traffic going down the single approach road straight through that village – the way some people drive as well I don’t think the locals are exaggerating when they say a few wing mirrors etc are getting knocked off. it must look like a mini-invasion to them each time it happens!
also just consider that you have a load of spangled people in a stone quarry and the rocks are going to be damp with the current weather – no doubt the authorities are worried about people falling down the quarry.
At dragonmoot Welsh Ambulance were deployed several times to pick up those unfortunates who had fallen on the rocks. Each callout costs at least £150 (perhaps more) on top of the NHS/GIG treatment costs at hospital; Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police are also often deployed as backup under NHS/GIG security procedures (any UK paramedic crew deployed into an area where illegal substances may be used is entitled to police backup – sometimes people can’t tell the difference between blue and green uniforms and start on the paramedics 🙁 )
All this cost is picked up by the locals in their council taxes, whether they approve of the rave or not, as well as the damage to their cars and other disruption. TBH its hardly surprising its come to this – when we’ve re-used a venue many times in England its almost invariably eventually locked down big time.
Also by announcing your intention to breach the barricade on two public boards this will alert both the locals and heddlu to your plans.
I hope there is a party in your area over the holiday; but perhaps trefil is not the place to do it!
