Rave organisers told to stay away

    Apr 8 2004

POLICE have warned rave organisers to stay away from Surrey as officers launch a crackdown.

Measures adopted this year include sending warning letters to suspected previous organisers saying police will seek anti-social behaviour orders if they are connected with further activity.

Officers are also warning the owners of vehicles spotted at gatherings broken up last year that if they are planning to organise or attend an illegal party this year they face arrest and prosecution.

Specially briefed officers in 4×4 vehicles will be patrolling the county and checking potential rave sites or reports of suspected rave activity.

Landowners are being briefed on the preparations and are being encouraged to make their land as inaccessible as possible for raves.

Assistant Chief Constable Mark Rowley said: “Surrey Police operates a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal rave gatherings. These events are opportunities for the furtherance of criminality through the selling and use of illegal drugs and the weapons culture. They are often associated with safety hazards to young people attending.”

(WEAPONS CULTURE? WHERE THE MOTHER FUCK DID THAT COME FROM?

He added: “This uncontrolled and criminally influenced environment is potentially harmful to the young people of Surrey and contrary to the state of peace and normality. Surrey Police will actively discourage, disrupt and act to stop all illegal raves within the county.”

Members of the public are asked to report every incident which leads them to suspect a rave is being planned or in progress.

Divisional commander for East Surrey Chief Superintendent Rob Price said: “I hope this will reassure people in East Surrey we have listened very carefully to what they have told us about how they want us to deal with the disturbance raves can cause them.”

what a lying bunch of cunts….

looks like we just have to try an confuse the fuck out of them every one make sure to ring the ob with fake rave sightings every fri and saturday night………if ur not up to much tell em its inna local park, then watch from a safe distance as they turn up and scratch their arses…..

They just cannot stand anything out of their ordinary little worlds… and out of their control. free parties are anopen space to enjoy an audiovisual experience and express yourself in a creative and social way. it is the last remaining bastion of soul and freedom in this pagan land, and tottally opposed to violence of any kind. how can the police misunderstand us so thoroughly? it can either be a sinister agenda or shear stupidity, or most likely, fear of the misunderstood. fear of the OTHER!.. the other is
    PEACE
    LOVE
    UNITY
    RESPECT
THATS ALL WE WANT AND GIVE, JUST GIVE US OUR SPACE TO BE US!
