    I actually saw these (howgarth?) in an exhibition last year, gin alley!!

    they are great prints with so much detail, i just love the ones with the children / babys falling over the walls etc as their mums so pissed up, totally wrong but what happened!! mothers ruin isnt called that for noubt

    Also it was frequently mixed with turpentine and sulphate, I’m sure you can imagine how lethal turpentine is..fucking hell im not even aloud it in the house because of the smell.
    I haven’t done an oil painting in ages 🙁

    Geez!! yep I used to paint (alot!!) in oils so I know turps!!
    never knew it was mixed with this! eugh!!

    I used to get told off a lot as I’d suck my paint brushes!! prob lots of nasty lead and other horrids deposited in my brain….
