Since I’ve been addicted to Drugs, I was obviously for Legalization… But I must admit that initialy, I hadn’t thought further than my own comfort.
My opinion hasn’t changed until today but Legalisation is clearly now the only Right Way to ameliorate the situation and reduce the addiction.
And after having tasted 35 years ago the first time the 2 most World abused Substances used by the Human Species to satiate his need for pleasure,
Alcool (Legal & Toxic !!!) and Weed (Illegal !!! & Not Prooved Toxic).
Having lived 30 years addicted to all possible Toxic Drugs and always having been happy with my living choice.
Having seen so many other people dying, suffering or pleased with the choice to consume these Substances
I HAVE PLENTY REASON TO AFFIRM THAT :
REPRESSION WILL NEVER BE A SOLUTION AGAINST ADDICTION.
IT’S AN ATTACK ON OUR FREEDOM TO CHOOSE THE WAY HOW TO LIVE,
AND IS IN LARGE PART GUILTY TO MOST DRUG-RELATED CRIMES CAUSED BY
THE HUMAN SPECIES
So I want to remember before begining that thread which is more a Poll :
That I think that most of us here are much better placed than those who didn’t needed/wanted, haven’t been addicted,
haven’t been confronted to addiction and illegal products, or simply have found their source of satiation with legal products.
Debating of that question and see the result with only persons who really knows the problem.
(IT’S NOT ILLEGAL CHOOSING DYING UNDER A TRAIN, SO WHY SHOULD DRUGS BE ILLEGAL FOR THE BAD SIDES CONCERNING HEALTH ???)
