i know its not very pc to single out 1 religion. but if you’re religion says that your deity kicked the living shit out of the jews then maybe its not so useful in the progressive world.

Hmmm… without a definition of “violence” or “religion” I really couldn’t say. Question is woolly.

Does atheism provoke hatred and discord? Often, but that’s a clear thread jack so I’m not going there.

any form of competition can provoke violence imo, unfortunately something what imo was originally designed to be more of a “self help” guide has become a massive dick waggling fest of who’s got the bigger/better one, which in turn is causing violence.
