you may think they would be less harsh after 7/7 and 7/21 but from checking their press releases and other reliable sources of info net.surveillance of our scene will be as bad if not worse.
cops wouldn’t want to be seen as going soft on “normal crime” just because some mad people try to blow up London, after all bombs have been a commonplace part of London life for the last 30 years…
Furthermore monitoring party messageboards like this is part of the same policing task as keeping an eye on the football hooligans and cruisers boards (some of which are also “stirring the pot” by allowing racist discussions and even plans of “revenge” against the Asian community as a whole) – then you’ve got the militant muslims stirring the Asian boards – which is vastly increasing the resources being deployed for internet monitoring of any board where young people frequent…
Wales is big enough to hint that a party may happen at the weekend – OTOH just an mentioning an area within the country is enough to show which of the 4 Welsh forces should mobilise resources…
They are also well on the ball when it comes to internet monitoring and tracking “high-tech” crime – more so than English forces.
The southern welsh force (SWP/HDC) works very closely with VOSA/DVLA (as the HQ is in the same place) to check vehicle info and movements, and the (NWP/HGC) has a big beef with illegal raves after violence erupted when they tried to shut one down and an officer lost the sight in one eye…..
I know you’re all enthusiastic and love parties like we do but remember you’ve all got a private message facility if you register, its more secure unless your work is very closely checking your internet activity (if you are worried about this then surf from home!)
