I didnt go out last night but a couple of mates went and said it was quite a mission gettin in.
For all those raves that you can just turn up at and get mashed freely with no old bill trouble, theres always gonna be sum where the O.B do every thing in there will to stop it.
I think they waited until backup from other forces arrived – 2 neighbouring forces were used to provide sufficient cops to raid the place
beds and suffolk units attended
lots of people got knocked around
it always ends with relatively innocent people getting hurt as well :hopeless:

yep thats always the case… sometimes the warehouses belong to an influential local businessperson and/or are not totally abandoned but still in use and between lets/awaiting valuation/clearance
because of the level of vandalism associated with raves the feds can go in well heavy to try and disperse the ravers
I was at one in London a few years back where the building was clearly quite new and between lets – about 16 police vans arrived and they just put cops on every entrance/exit and cleared everyone out (thankfully without too much violence)
apart from 2 incidences i saw (a bit of a scuffle inside with the police and then one outside behind a van) i dont think the police where actually that bad .. i mean they did jus say right all be gone now and everyone just drove out. but then again i dunno how much they filmed so maybe the reprocussions (i cant spell tht word :P) will come back to ppl at a later date.
so if it started at 3 had it been moving round all night?
Gave my seat up t this party. Then as normal it got about 12 and i was regreting it ringing up anyone i could think of to get down there. Quite a few of my mates went though sounds like a good party.
several arrests, and even vehicles seized (new anti social behaviour laws authorise cops to seize any vehicle used in crime)

Nine arrests after rave
Breaking news from the ET
NINE people were arrested and one man was taken to hospital after police were called to a rave parting in a disused factory.
Police were called at 12.30am yesterday to reports that an illegal rave was being held in a building just off the A141 at Warboys, near Huntington.About 30 vehicles and 300 people were found to be at the event, which was monitored by police, including the air support unit, until officers moved in to disperse the crowds, making several arrests as they did so.
Police seized several thousand pounds worth of music equipment and a number of vehicles.
Superintendent Mike Brown, who led the operation to disperse the rave, said: “As well as being a serious infringement of landowners’ rights, illegal raves are dangerous and put public safety at risk.
“Holding these events is irresponsible, illegal and hazardous and we will deal stongly with anyon e who chooses to do so.
“Cambridgeshire Police will not tolerate the disruptiion to communities and the danger to individuals that these events present and will take positive action to close them down and bring the offenders to justice.”
Cambridgeshire officers were supported by officers from Bedfordshire and Suffolk.
Fire extinguishers were sprayed
and thrown at officers by rave-goers during the event, aside from which there was no serious disorder and no one was injured.A 26-year-old man was taken from the event by ambulance after approaching officers saying he felt ill. I think we do need to show the police that we are gonna keep this culture going! BUT i wish people would stop being so agressive towards them! Throwing thngs at them and being violemt towards them isn’t gonna help out case we need to think of new tactics of keeping them out. We NEED to be clever!
haha did the dog get kicked in the face?
Whoever shot the video obvioulsly really wanted to!
Looked to me like the dog was going for the handler at one point haha
only made it 2 this party at 7 due 2 being 2 fucked plus a mission lol, mates wer ther most of the nite tho. got in round the back but was difficult wit police at every entrance (managed 2 slip thru…) had a good stomp on the final tunes! thought the rig was pretty poor quality, but a good crowd n venue cuda bin such a wikid party if the feds wernt so tight on this 1! did think they wer bein a bit out of order at the end wen a group of em wer usin ther sheilds n battons far more aggresively than the people wer being
sadly its not as simple as the “feds being bastards” (although they often are and there were clearly excessive levels of force as a reprisal against them initially being defied).
thanks to UK property and land values warehouses cost up to half a million quid or more – even shitty abandoned ones and they are often not quite “abandoned” but simply awaiting another tenant. when warehouses get raved they are often left full of rubbish, balloons, even human shit etc (as not all crews are able to get the water/plumbing on) – the smashy smashy crew make things worse…
OK some crews do try and clear up but its not always done, they can’t fix walls that have been kicked in or ripped out plumbing, and flooded places, and there are people who try and shit in random places as jokes :yakk::yakk:
further, if people were able to just constantly break into buildings and do what the fuck they wanted in them there would also be bare travellers (particularly the more “pikey” type) rinsing them and making a site out of the place, plus the more desperate homeless / immigrants who can’t get housing in town squatting them midweek..
I’m not being racist here, just saying it like it is and from what I have seen in the city where I used to live – actually a lot of these travellers/homeless people/immigrants were mates of mine and some of them used to have raves in the buildings as well but gave up because the buildings got smashed..
So because of all the above locals and building owners expect the cops to defend their property rights by whatever means necessary (as many are actually shit-scared of 300+ people who have just taken over a space by their own hands)
Stuff like cops taking their numbers off and putting on balaclavas is alarming but sadly its been accepted within those in British society with power, and has been going on since the 1960s when people first stopped accepting some of the more restrictive dogmas of conventional British society.
What is essentially happening is the police are taking on a paramilitary role and settling a civil conflict to reclaim the property rights of the building owners.. (look at film of the Iraq war, you don’t see the soldiers wearing numbers/name badges..) In other nations there is a gendarmerie or even the regular Army is called in to deal with stuff like this, and often lots of CS and even live rounds may be discharged!
anyway, anyone who is interested in why shit like this happens and how it is dealt with by cops and govt should read this book (you may need to borrow it from your college or local library as it is expensive and hard to get otherwise)
