illesse is a few years older than me and TBH has taken way more drugs and is not dead yet. He is also very brainy to know how to do all that stuff. That lab may not look pretty but if the chemicals are clean and the processes good he will be taking cleaner drugs than most people would get in UK.
the electronic circuits I build and computer programmes I write are not as pretty as what you would get from Apple; and I work in a fairly chaotic office (there are all sorts of old bits of hardware in here and systems under test and there is a warning sign outside about the risk of tripping over cable and the radiation levels from the DECT (cordless phone) transmitters; but this stuff works and is used to keep vulnerable people safe.
CH is in Europe but not actually in the EU so can be more tolerant about certain things. (its however not that easy to get immigration clearance and only marginally easier if you are an EU citizen) He might have an unusual hobby in a legal grey area but there are people in Europe making bombs and poison and all sorts for wars and he is not one of them so would be tolerated. TBH the pirate radio transmitters I used to build as a lad were more harmful to the local area as they got on the safety critical communications radios frequency for my areas public transport.
he is not selling this stuff on here (or he would get in bother); the problematic use of harder drugs is in fact declining globally even if young people do experiment with them and its partly because of our generation sharing their experiences, good or bad.
Also people do lots of brainy science stuff in the whole country so no one bats an eyelid at him getting all the lab kit; his whole block may be full of people doing science experiments (even if not all of them are making drugs). if they don’t set the block on fire; there isn’t a problem :laugh_at:
