tried reading the book but couldnt get into it so cheated and watched the film 😉
lol theres no shame we all do it, in unrelated news i just watched ‘i am legend’ and its good if u can overlook dated cgi and minor lack of cohension, but the book is far better
um sry .. i didn’t mean spider .. it was spun after all .. lmoa .. spider is the dealer in the film iirc .. lol …..:you_crazy
just gonna make a new thread .. books or films of the same story …. what is better …

Yeah it captures the whole meth vibe quite well that film hehe..The Salton Sea is another movie about tweaking (not as interesting as spun though but seeing Val Kilmer racking up is interesting)
Human Traffic would still be my favourite though…The Weekend has landed! raaa
The milky bars are on me!!!!:wink::wink:
I like ‘True Romance’, not really about drugs but a suitcase full of coke drives the plot.
fear and loathing in Las Vagas:love:
i think i voted on this before??
but i always thought human traffic was… then trainspotting or layer cake when i saw them
but a few weeks ago i FINALLY had the pleasure of seeing Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
wow. best. film. everrrrr
Its has to be Fear and Loathing…Gonzo journalism rules…
for us with a coke problem..,I saw scarface, but whatever happened to London with Jessica Beil?
Fear and Loathing defo
“Whaaaaaat’s the trouble” ^_^
I agree with JamesBong aswell, True Romance is another one of my favourite films!
My vote goes to ‘Baraka’. Utterly spellbinding.
It’s not about drugs, but it is the best movie I’ve watched for chilling while tripping.
BTW, no actors or dialogue in it.

I discoved that movie a few years back. Watched it sober. then a few weeks later, watched it stoned. It’s amazing. …and made a lot more sense the 2nd time round.
From the poll I chose Human Traffic. … but yesterday I saw A Scanner Darkly, which is also a very worthy contender.

I liked Linklater’s earlier film ‘Waking Life’. Not about drugs, but trippy viewing.
