Spun’s my favourite too; I though a film about meth would be dull but it’s so well produced I was impressed.

Requiem for a Dream is good too, but I find the most horrifying character is definatly the mother on speed :crazy: was not a fan.

For fun ones though 24 Hour Party People is amazing if only due to its accuracy.

Picked Human Traffic coz it feels more down to earth and easy to relate to… buy I also love Requiem for a Dream and Spun for grim psychological twistyness and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for laughs.

ok, I voted fear and loathing in las vegas, but you can even watch that movie to often I guess. by now I think human traffic is my favorite, though I definately should check out a couple (why not all) of the movies in the list. the spliff politics scene is sooo good

I watched that film on a comedown and it proper f*cking traumatised me. Not sure why but it hit a nerve. thought about it for weeks afterwards, never been affected like that before in my life. The dvd is now in the freezer where it can never scare me again.

when i first watched this film i didn’t think too much of it tbh … i have tried to watch it again but my m8 didn’t wanna watch it either .. i really wanna see it the whole way through again as i have a feeling i am missing out on some thing as i am not sure if i paid propper attention to it the first time i watched it or wether i just didn’t like it all that much ….

Give it another watch, see how you feel at the end of it. I know when i watched it it left me feeling very uncomfortable.
