Have you read the book ?, there is no way a film could ever do it justice !

Fear and Loathing has gotta be my fave on the list….although I’ve gotta admit I haven’t seen half of them coz I don’t really watch that much tele.

Another good one I’ve seen is layer cake, will have to make it my mission to watch all the rest-maybe when summers over tho!

phat film, was in the pharmacy with my gf the other week and reminded me of this, was well up for tryin there hussel

i voted fear and loathing even though its shit compaired to the book and i cant really watch it now, the back door bueaty scene pissed me off, its like 10 pages of him thinkin about whats goin on in the book its hardly mentioned in the screen

all good but still so many missing, buffalo soldiers is the winner in my book

no one mentiond blow altho i aint read the WHOLE thread

scarface is one of my fav films ever.

I can’t possibly vote for 1 of those films – there’s several in that selection that I rate highly…………..

i usually think that films never do books justice, but this is one of the RARE exceptions. depp and del toro really bring the characters to life. the white rabbit bathtub scene is hillarious. BTW i love the book, read it in about 10 -12 hours straight first time…..amazing.
