yeah heard about it, def wanna watch that. If its been on film four, likely it’ll be shown again.
A pale shadow of the book but Fear an Loathing in Las Vegas ver good.
Could not stop laughing when they’re in that wierd indoor circus and he can’t get off the carousel bar, almost wet myself (i was a bit off the straight an narrow too at that point).
For sheer twistedness Naked Lunch was very bloody strange
Wonderland was prolly the best action drug film ever. Party Monster definantly deserves a mention too, tho it is not really an action.
A Scanner Darkly was a disgrace to the book, but it had good animation, so it kinda breaks even.
my brothers mate works in the pub the army bloke from that film works in … sorry quite long winded …
its an amazing film
got to be requiem for a dream , closely followed by Drugstore cowboy “the ants in the grass just doin their thang”!
All of the above are great. Has anyone mentioned Altered States? It has to be somewhere in there. Also City of God? Really disturbing
City of God is excellent, reading the book at the mo, really interesting

Just finished the book ‘A scanner darkly’ by Philip K Dick. Really amazing imagery and brilliant examination of complete paranoia. Essential reading. I can’t wait to see the film. Out on DVD in acouple of weeks I think
PARTY MONSTER =]
(even though that wasn’t on the list)
Requiem for a Dream is fantastic also. As is Trainspotting.
