MS sufferers to get cannabis relief Cannabis drug available in the UK
Multiple sclerosis patients in the UK are to be able to get a cannabis-based pain-relief drug from their doctor for the first time, it has been announced.
Sativex has already been licensed for use in Canada to relieve pain in people with MS.
The Home Office has now said the drug can be imported to the UK for individual patient's use.
MS charities welcomed the development as a step towards the drug being fully licensed for use on the NHS.
Eighty-five thousand people in the UK have MS. It is not yet certain how many of them would benefit from Sativex.
The drug is a mouth spray containing two chemicals found in cannabis, tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol.

First up, a big THANK YOU to all who came along to our launch night last month, and also to our DJs on the night, Tayo, Pook, Awe Soundsystem and of course ressies Dirty Habit and Danny Sanders. We all had an absolute blinder!!!
Having only just recovered from last month's debauchery I'm pleased to say the December Breakfish is nearly upon us.
Friday December the 9th see's us back at Clockwork on Pentonville Rd (see flyer below), joined by long-time Breakfish favourites and arguably the world's greatest DJs, SOTO [Botchit & Scarper]. It's been a few months since we've had the pleasure, and this month you can be sure they'll be giving us a sneak preview of their barnstorming new single 'Ghetto Blast Ya!'. As if that's not enough, we're joined by Chemical Breaks' Chief Funkstar, Chemical Ali as well as ressies, Pook, Sanders and Dirty Habit.

SCAN 7 (Underground Resistance / Tresor) –
"Originally born in the late 80’s, Scan 7’s first release, “Voices Beyond”, came out on the Submerge compilation, “Escape Into The Void”.
He unleashed projects such as “Introducing SCAN 7” and the “Undetectable” EP, both on Underground Resistance, as well as an exclusive “S.I.D.” EP entitled “Invisible Thoughts”.
Trackmasta Lou’s first contact with Tresor came from his outstanding work with UR (Underground Resistance), and he proceeded to release many rare records on the famous Tresor compilations. Later, Trackmasta Lou put out two collectable albums with Tresor, “The Dark Territory” and the “Resurfaced” album. Both were laced with a deep dark dose of classic Detroit style techno, with the imprints of the SCAN 7 trademark drums.
Trackmasta Lou then went on to form what is now, the legendary SCAN 7 live act! The group is most famous for its ninja-like appearances, often dressed in black flight suits with black masks and hats, they use code names to protect their true identification, they believe it’s not who you see, but what you hear, and that is the most important element in techno!"- www.scan7.com
DASH (Tresor)
"Dash began his first musical career in 1989, first inspired by the pioneering Acid - House and Techno artists from the UK (like Baby Ford). Beginning in 1990, Dash gained quick notoriety with his immensely popular "Firehouse" House party series in 1990 and by 1993 was residenting the legendary Bunker-Club (1st Floor). His style then focused on "harder" Techno-Music (i.e. Planetary Assault Systems, Jeff Mills, etc.). As the Tresor-Club became aware of Dash in 1995, his style turned into absolutely "groove Techno". In 1997 he finally became a key Tresor resident and remains the current leader of Tresor's Headquarter-Team."

It's been a rollercoaster year of packed out Pokes courtesy of the likes of Rephlex and Planet-Mu, and this Christmas we go back to how it all began with a Warp Records special. Last christmas we gave you Miss Kittin, this year we're digging into Warp's mighty roster to bring you some of their freshest faces and one or two electronic legends who have been onboard since the beginning.
Over two rooms we'll be taking in everything from filthy acid house to lush ambience, crunched up and glitched out noise to jackin' techno. All the ingredients in place for another all night session of sonic mayhem under the railway arches.
As well as the usual musical bangers, this Xmas we are proud to bring you one of Winter's newest yet noblest traditions, the Rev. Kruzer's Electro Carol Service. For three years now the good Rev. has been brightening up the bleep midwinter nights with his unique take on the Christmas message, Hymn sheets provided, fun for all the family!
And this year we introduce Santa's Grime Grotto, a club within a club, the Grotto may only accommodate 5 or 6 people at a time, but rest assured the fat man and his helpful elf servant will be supplying the freshest XXX-mas beats and special presents for those who make it into the inner sanctum.

You asked for it, we gave it to you and now we’re back with more! In the closing months of 2005, tidy, together with Extreme Euphoria brought its combined magic back to the capitol. The result was a packed Heaven with thousands of people, going off to the award winning tidy soundtrack!
2005’s Tidy and Extreme Euphoria London was in essence a showcase, an opportunity for us to remind our London massive exactly what we’re about! We pulled it off in usual tidy style, and therefore the second outing has to be different, bigger and better, and delivering that to you is our mission statement!
Tidy is renowned for making its mark across club-land and so on January 27th 2006, we’ll be back, with an improved super charged formula that will cement our place in the heart of WC2! This is our first party of 2006, and we plan to set a precedent for many good things to come over the year!
As well as inviting the big name spinners you’d associate with tidy and Extreme Euphoria, we’re inviting the crème de la crème of London’s hard dance scene to be a part of this experience.
