So if you're setting up outdoor parties
* STAY AWAY from any crop field or active farmland. Unless you are a farmer yourself you cannot tell whether a field has been abandoned or not; just leave it alone.
* PREVENT anyone who attends your parties from entering the "harvestable" parts of crop fields for any reason. If they want to explore along the path bit or where the tractor has already been that should be OK - but do NOT allow crops to be trampled or motor vehicles to be driven into a field
If you encounter farmers or other rural workers, expect them to be particularly stressed/angry (and understandably so). Do everything possible not to antagonise them further, at the very least they will call the old bill, at the worst these people have access to firearms!
This is serious stuff - if crews carry on regardless and fuck up any more crop fields it will result in the authorities being harsher.
Sometimes you do need to look at the bigger picture.

At NYE 2004/2005 a 30h PsyTrance party called „Green Spirit“ will happen settled in the wonderful nature of Krabi in Ao Nang, Thailand.

Krabi is one of the greatest surroundings in Thailand with wonderful beaches and stunning nature. „Greenspirit“ is organised by Stephan from Switzerland who began his life in Krabi 17 years ago with a raft bar and today runs the resort „Wannasplace“ together with his partner Wanna. After endless talks with the Thai authorities they finally arranged an official allowance to do an open air party. Normal for Thailand is a closing time of 2h in the morning with the exceptions of full-moon and black-moon parties. But for Greenspirit an allowance is present for a 30h party!
The event is well organised and well connected with the local Thai psy scene so you can expect unforgetable moments! This party also carries the hope to show the local authorities of the positive sides of the trance scene since they usually connect electronic music with cheap techno, drugs and red light district dancing. „Greenspirit“ is applying to the source idea of dance – the unifying ritual under stars approaching the sunrise. Let’s use this chance and have a festival of love! Thai Style Unity in dance with Love light n bliss for some!
Krabi is placed in the south of Thailand and is well known by his „James Bond“ rocks, vast beaches and it’s underwater paradise. From Bangkok you take the only south route of the Thai railway until Suratthani and continue by Bus to Ao Nang.
Since a short while Krabi has it’s own Airport and can easily be reached from Bangkok or Singapur.
Everything is readily available and the costs of living is very low. It’s only a short travel to Koh Phangan where the famous Full Moon and Black Moon parties are still happening. Family always around!
Who’s never been to Krabi or Thailand should check out if he wants to party NYE 2004/2005 in Paradise. Ideal prerequisites for a spiritual trance experience.

Woman finds her home boarded up
The council mixed up Patricia Driscoll's home for a nearby flat
A woman returned from a weekend break away to find the council had boarded up her house.
Patricia Driscoll was told the shutters had gone up on her three-bedroom Cardiff council home because officials thought she had abandoned it.
She had to spend the night with a friend after the authority mistook her home for a flat on the same estate.
The council has apologised and replaced the back door which was damaged in the work - and sent Miss Driscoll flowers.
Care assistant Miss Driscoll, 39, lives on the Brynfedw estate in Llanedeyrn with her 13-year-old daughter, Amber.
They are not really sure how the number got twisted up, but the fact that it was a flat and I live in a house is a dead giveaway, isn't it!
Her 19-year-old son, James, was house sitting for her while she was away for the weekend in Blackpool and Amber was at her grandmother's.
She said James had been at the property until 1230 BST on the weekday that she returned home, from the railway station some four hours later.
"As we drove up, I could see that there were shutters on my window frames.
"The first thing I did then was that I panicked and looked for black smoke marks on the house, but there weren't any. Then I thought the house had been smashed in."
'Fire hazard'
She said the council's contractors had just finished the shutter work and were in the garden packing up to leave.
"They said 'we have been ordered to do this because you had abandoned the property'. I said 'I've been away for the weekend!'
"They said I couldn't stay in it because it was a fire hazard while the shutters were on.
"So I had to stay at a friend's overnight and wait till the morning to go to the council to find out what was going on."
She said it turned out the message from the estate's caretaker about an empty flat on the other side of the estate had been misunderstood.
The caretaker reported the one-bedroom flat, no 215, but the numbers were somehow rearranged to Miss Driscoll's house number.
"They said 'the caretaker reported your flat empty'. I said 'hold on - flat? I live in a house'."
'Sincere apologies
"They are not really sure how the number got twisted up, but the fact that it was a flat and I live in a house is a dead giveaway, isn't it!
"The thing is, I had just cut the grass last week. There was fresh food in the fridge.
"When it first happened, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but I'm laughing about it now.
A spokesman said: "Cardiff Council extends its sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to Ms Driscoll.
'Acted properly'
"The authority owns and manages 14,000 homes around the city.
"Whenever a property falls vacant we fit it with security screens, if appropriate.
"Local housing officers were wrongly informed by colleagues that Ms Driscoll's home had been abandoned.
"They acted properly in arranging for it to be screened.
"When Ms Driscoll drew the error to their attention, they ensured that the screens were quickly removed."

violacea (Tlitliltzin): sacred Mayan morning glory. Widely used for its psychoactive effects in the Heavenly blue, Pearly Gates, Flying Suacers and Wedding Bells strains.
Usage: 5-10 grams of seeds can be ingested as follows:
- thoroughly chew and swallow
- grind and soak in water for 1/2 hour, strain and drink
- sprout by soaking in water for 3-4 days (change water often), after which the white mushy part is removed from the shell and eaten. This is probably the best method for avoiding side effects, although I have I have reason to believe sprouting the seeds lessens their effectiveness.
Most commercially available Morning glory seeds are treated with chemicals to thwart consumption. Seeds are also sometimes treated with Methyl mercury to prevent spoilage. Chemically treated seeds can cause severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Effects: LSD like experience lasting about 6 hours, but with less hallucinogenic effects. Nausea is common even with untreated seeds. Less anxiety, less intensity than LSD in normal doses.
Nausea can be lessened by ingesting one or two dramamine 30 minutes to one hour before ingesting the MG seeds. More dramamine can be taken after the nausea sets in, however, dramamine can be a DANGEROUS drug in high doses and its synergistic effects with LSA are unknown. Exceeding the recommended dosage given on the dramamine box is probably a pretty stupid thing to do under any circumstances.
History: The Zapotecs used ipomoea violacea by grinding the seeds up and wrapping them in a meal cloth. They would then soak it in cold water and would find out information about the illness of a patient, a troublemaker among the people, or the location of a lost object.
Interaction precautions: should not be taken by people with a history of liver disorders or hepatitis. Should not be taken by pregnant women.
Active Constituents: D-lysergic acid amide
User reports:
I once consumed a foul tasting infusion of about 300 ground Ipomoea seeds. There were no effects for the first five hours, except a strange physical feeling of tension in the body, which led the author to draw the mistaken conclusion that the seeds had little effect. Others have reported vomiting at this point. However, after this time LSD-type effects became apparent. My friends have reported positive results from it, but I still believe this drug is unreliable in its effects and I would recommend acid or mushrooms as being preferable.
