The signalling here is 8 data bits, 1 stop bit and no parity with IA5 (ASCII) coding. The confusing bit is remembering that there is always a extra bit sent at the start (to synchronise the distant equipment as there is no clock sent along with the circuit) and everything is inverted and backwards...

The blue telephone is the same kind Openreach use to test lines with, it can monitor them without making a noise on the line or when the audio is very quiet...
It is possible to still ring the line so no one would notice anything is unusual; except I don't answer it (as it could be spies! :laugh_at:) and have the "ja ja ja polka" playing by the phone "volle Kanne" (as I needed to make some noise where the phone was) but it would stop the audio monitoring of any other noise in the room ;)

IVing (Intravenous) & Effects. Help? I am an ex opiate user. I got on the Suboxone program two months ago, 2mg a day. I recently used acetyl-fentanyl (15x heroin). After a full day of IV use, then next had I began again. At lunch time, I had a shot but must have used an Artery instead of a Vein, but my arm from inside elbow to wrist went numb and tingy on the inside of my arm. I think I hit a nerve of something. Anyway u was a bit worried but it went away within 15 minutes or so. Anyway today, I have been having weird hot rushes down that arm spontaneously. I have had about 5 today since 8am. It's 4pm now. Any advice? I have ceased use and don't want to again. Bit to dangerous for my liking. I have to use a lot to over ride my suboxone dose and it can be dangerous if you take too much and don't feel like because of the subs. Is this numbess and hot rushes in the area a bad sign?

Anyone had any experience with these? I just started. Basically it's ritalin in a pill designed to release it slowly all day so there's no high. The pills are pretty hard to crack into (there's a rock hard layer that's non-soluble to stomach digestion protecting the good stuff from getting out except by drip release), but they're not strong enough to resist being cut in half if you have Crocodile Dundee's knife. So I just cut mine in half then chewed them down. However, there are reports all over the net saying that to get the whole effect you have to not only break the pill in half, but then peel off the second inner layer painstakingly with a razor and maybe even grind it (difficult to do). I don't get this, because it seems really easy to me to do it my way, and I can chew it right down to pieces in my mouth, but vitually every report says you have to do more. What could possibly be the difference, why does everyone go to so much more effort than they need, or am I being really thick and missing something?
