Male to Female Transexualism Found this video quite educational myself, yet also entertaining. It's not the whole shebang. I don't know why i woke up thinking about searching for some information on SRS (sex reassignment surgery) I have heard of 'ladyboys, shemale's, trannsexual's etc but I was never quite sure why they decide to keep their manhood. It could be a sexual thing? Anyway some go all the way.

am looking into going to SE Asia, probably starting off in Vietnam, moving across to Laos and then down to Cambodia, possibly swing by Thailand although I'm told it had it's hey-day in the 90's and is now swimming with tourists...
Any advice tips etc. particularly cheap flights... I am thinking of going about April-May time, but suggestions at to when to go would be great to. In fact just any suggestions...

UK : Games and class A young woman from the housing co-op mentioned this blog in her tweets. I wasn't entirely surprised by the subject -its a good thing that younger people in the UK are considering the political/cultural implications of their computer games; but hadn't expected the articles below to also have been in the Morning Star (UK socialist newspaper)!
Last time I had read this (about 1999) I thought it was written by some middle aged journos who, if they had computers at all, would more likely still be using something like a shared CP/M system built out of hoarded components and some assistance from Germany and Denmark; and no one under 50 wrote for this paper (or read it!)
It does appear the blog writer was a subeditor for them until recently and has had these articles published, whether he still writes for them is unclear. The rest of the Morning Star which I looked at for old times sake does still read like it was written by half of your schoolteachers from the 1980s - the arts/footy sections are behind a paywall - which at least gave me a laugh (and it is not full with trackers like the Grauniad or requires you to log in like De Volkskrant). I did find his articles eventually but the way they are laid out (which makes sense for dead tree newspapers) gets him mixed up with lots of other reporters. I can half understand why left wing organisations would do this but it makes an interesting article much harder to find online....
At least they have let Simon keep his copyright and the independent blog.

Underage African football (soccer) players trafficked to Laos (SE Asia) I am aware of too many incidents of young girls/women from poorer countries being trafficked as sex workers - and some boys being groomed but more common within the upper classes of richer countries which have the British public school system (less common in mainland Northern Europe as these kind of schools are discouraged or banned) - but this is the first time I have heard of young lads being forcibly taken off to another country to play football...
IMO this is a particularly unpleasant thing to do; as everyone I've known who enjoys football and can play it would willingly sign up to a club and play worldwide when they are old enough...
