Trying to get other peoples perspective on using legal medications…

Hi,
My name is Gabrielle Edgerton (G.M.Edgerton@2016.ljmu.ac.uk ) and I am Public Health masters student at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). I am currently looking for participants for my dissertation. I am carrying out an online survey examining how best to communicate potential harms around ecstasy/MDMA
If you live in the UK are aged 18-34 and have used ecstasy / MDMA in the previous 12 months it would be a great help if you could take part. It should take no longer than 30 minutes at most. I recently got a chance to try the cherry flavored offering from atomic zip herbal incense at their second highest strength (neutron) and I was blown away. They offer 4 different strengths (from lowest to highest: hydrogen, neutron and atomic, with another offering called LEVEL X which I understand is an in between kind of thing).Â
Right off the back, I was shown exemplary customer service as I sent in an inquiry via email which was responded to extremely quickly. I asked to try out their product for a review and they were more than happy to oblige. From time of contact to receiving the product, the overall time passed was about 5 days, which is insanely fast considering they use standard mail for their samples as opposed to priority (2-3 days) for anything else you purchase.
Each time I had a question about the product or where we were at in terms of getting the order through, answers were given quickly and with every answer I needed.
So besides the excellent customer service, let's talk about pricing. BESIDES making your own incense at home and going that route, this site offers what I have found to be in the top 2 out of all the clearnet vendors I've ever come across. 10 gram bags range from 40$-80$, increasing as the level does. Even the lowest level is still super potent though, so you get lots of bang for your buck on all fronts here. They also offer a variety of flavors, other sizes and are ready to answer any questions and gladly send you a small sample upon request. All around this is a top notch crew.
NOW, on to the product I actually sampled. The product came in a nice, simple packaging. The product had that familiar incense smell of things like damiana, mullein and other various smokable herbs but with a nice, sweet touch of cherry. The herbs are light and fluffy, with virtually no stems or any other bothersome little plant matter besides the nice fluffy part.Â
I sampled the product in a one hitter and right away after one puff felt the effects. I was reminded of a killer indica strain of cannabis with a slightly trippy vibe, which was extremely nice. My body was relaxed, and my mind was in that nice place in the clouds we all like to be. After a second hit, effects were amplified and I was chilling in deep space! It was amazing, one of the closest blends I've found that is reminiscent of "the real thing".Â
Anyways, effects lasted about an hour and a half, weening slowly after the first hour. The come down was smooth and left me feeling a nice and mellow afterglow
Two puffs was the sweet spot for me with this product and I honestly cannot wait to try out more of their other lines. The atomic level must be wild!!!!

NL : Trimbos warn dangers of MDMA use are being understated
Dutch harmreduction organisation Trmbos have published a report derived from research at first aid stations of EDM events, as well as collecting hospital admission/treatment data.
Their findings are that as well as a rise in fatal ODs [although slightly less than in the UK] a lot more people are having unwanted side effects and having to seek some type of medical help - but as drugs use remains a taboo and shameful subject in spite of NL's perceived "liberal" attitudes, those who survive tend not to say much about their experiences - thus MDMA is incorrectly still viewed as a completely "harmless" drug and more risks taken with it (in spite of increasing strength of pills!)

UK : NW : Fatal MDMA overdose of Uni student celebrating end of course..
One risk factor of these strong pils is that intelligent young adults with education or career responsibilities who do *not* regularly take drugs because of can easily be caught out if they think strengths are the same as when they were in the last few years of high school... This unfortunate case is being reported all across Europe and is going to be bad publicity for the Student Union venue which was already under Police investigation..

INT : Advice If your friends have recently taken drugs and are feeling unwelll
if you are in a group of friends and any of you are taken badly ill after taking drugs (whether you have used them before or not) - please call the Emergency Ambulance first (999, 112, 911 or your local emergency number) rather than searching online here or anywhere else!
Be honest with the medical staff (they are not cops, and even if cops do turn up with the Ambulance they are now trained to keep their distance if there is no safety risk to the paramedics) and keep hold of any leftover substances to hand over to them so they can get them tested.
If your friend must go to hospital make sure someone can also visit them and (I know this can be awkward) it is better to notify their siblings or parents yourself than have the hospital staff or even cops do that.
Many overdoses/adverse reactions if caught in time are survivable, provided the patient gets to hospital with the correct facilities and trained staff. But it is not possible to give out medical treatment via the Internet!

According to this German survey, I will live until 83,9 years
TBH I think this is a bit overoptimistic (it did not ask me whether I smoked for one thing) - if I get anywhere near this age and my mind and body are still working I would seriously consider repenting my sins and going to Mass regularly again, as it would be near enough a miracle (maybe I would try and get part time work as an AV/computer technician for the chapel in Bavaria that also has a paricularly good restaurant and brewery within a few hundred metres :) )
