Gona have to face it, I’m addicted to bud. Might as well face it, I’m addicted to bud Probably a good job there is a character limit on the length of a thread title; otherwise I'd have typed the full lyrics to Robert Palmer's- Addicted to love. Lol.
Is it possible to become physically addicted to bud? I thought only psychological addiction was possible with weed, but I'm displaying some pretty concerning symptoms of physical withdrawal.
I've been smoking weed pretty much daily since I was 19, just turned 26 a few weeks ago. My mental health has caused me issues since I was 15, so long before that first joint touched my lips. That rules out cannabis as being the cause of my problems, but we've definitely reached a point where it is damaging me and not really helping any more, like it used to pacify me. Now when I'm stoned you see little change in my behaviour, I guess that's down to my body being used to the psychoactive chemicals from weed being in my body. For the sake the relationship with my girlfriend it's time to call this one quits. And that is a mutual decision, not just a request from her I'm acting on. I really want to seize control of my life and bring a halt to this spiralling loss of direction and meaning. For far too long I've allowed weed to rule my life, without even really realising it. So not only am I dealing with genuine mental health issues, I've loaded myself with an unnecessary drug addiction too. Not any more.
However............
Here I am at 5.20am Monday morning and roughly 36 hours without any bud. How am I doing? If cold sweats, muscle spasms (entire body jerking), highly irritable mood, extreme restlessness (fidgety) and insomnia (only managed about 4 hours sleep on Saturday night too) are the signs of a rehabilitated drug addict then I'm winning. But I have to say it doesn't feel like I'm winning, it feels very much like I'm losing.
Since having my last joint I've been smoking roll ups, something I very rarely do, so none of this is tobacco/nicotine withdrawals.
I have an abundance of Clonazepam and Etizolam to hand but haven't taken any of either, I know for a fact they'll help but seems to defeat the purpose of trying to come clean, so I've resisted.
It's mainly the cold sweats and spasms/borderline convulsions that concern me. What are your thoughts on this people?

Even if you get a place in one, life in SG is not just expensive but can be very stressful and people jump off them fairly regularly. There have been some quite graphic pics on their news (coincidentally from the same organisation my dad worked for) - the only thing they cover up is the body (any blood spots and those cones marked 1,2,3 etc are shown in the newspaper pics). it would be more than most Western news would show, but less than mainland China.
SG is however one the safest countries in SE Asia for a single woman to live and socialise and has a lot less gender divisions in the tech industry (they may well be way ahead of many European nations)
it is very rare (in comparison to London and similar blocks in Malaysia) for anyone to be attacked/robbed in the communal areas of these blocks or deliberately thrown off - there is a lot of CCTV which is actually monitored, and the bottom floors are allocated to those of senior age (a traditional Asian concept for any multi floor building) and these older people also keep a watch on security and report anything untoward to 999 - most likely be one of them who reported her going off the balcony, and it would not be odd that they might have made this call more than once in their own lifetimes.
Cops are investigating although it is more than likely that she did jump off because of problems with her own career (this may have been the first obstacle she encountered in getting ahead in life) unearthing pre-existing mental health issues, and bitcoin was a relatively small factor in this.
