Legal question regarding pot Ok, I live in the Bible Belt of the US - if you don't know what that means, in a sentence: Dancing is a sin, laughing is a sin, drinking is a sin, being gay is a sin, using drugs is a sin, etc. You get the picture. My guy got pulled over and basically ended his ass up in court tomorrow over possession. He had hardly any on him and he was honest about it with the police officer. Does anyone know what kind of issues we're looking at legal-wise? I know he won't get jail time and probably nothing more than a slap on the wrist with random drug testing and maybe some type of probation. If there's anyone out there that is more familiar with first time offenses regarding marijuana, I'd appreciate the info regarding his case.
