“The garage thought it might be the exhaust catalyst. They hit it with a hammer but that didn’t do anything and then they took the exhaust off. When they couldn’t find anything wrong they tried the front end and found that the air cleaner was chock-a-block with five and a half pounds of peanuts.”
He added: “My wife and I are bird lovers and we keep bird feed and peanuts in the garage. It is quite amazing as it must have run up a 1¾in pipe with the peanuts to get to the air cleaner.”
He believes that mice are to blame for completely filling the car’s air cleaner with peanuts.
Better than my vet who had the little darlings eat at least a part of every flexi hose on the car :hopeless: and its not covered by insurance either :you_crazy
