Forums › Life › Jokes & Humour › US : Broadcom ex-CEO busted by feds for drugs, hookers, false accounting
What makes this most amusing is that this bloke was a typical American “nerd turned suit” type, not even an overt party head…Broadcom only makes network hardware and infrastructure (mostly chips), its not as if they are a flashy outgoing well known company like Apple etc..
It would be the last company I would have suspected whose staff (particularly senior management) got caught up in stuff like this, [although it was common enough for the flashier dot com type places]
apparently he spiked peoples drinks with MD so they would buy his computer chips :laugh_at:

“One incident alleges Nicholas and others smoked so much marijuana during a flight on his private plane between Orange County and Las Vegas that the pilot had to put on an oxygen mask”.
Ha ha that conjures up a proper funny mental image!
“Among the more interesting claims in the indictment are allegations that Nicholas bought a commercial warehouse in Laguna Niguel, California as a party-going hideaway. The filing says Nicholas built and furnished private rooms in the warehouse with art, furniture and electronics, and instructed co-conspirators to maintain a supply of cocaine, ecstasy and meth on the premise”.
Why dont i know any people like this?!
:laugh_at::laugh_at::laugh_at::you_crazy:laugh_at:
Well if he can spike the judges drink, he’ll get off scot-free!:love:
the worst part of it is he will probably get fucked over more for the drugs (which only “hurts” a minority of people) than for the false accounting (which hurts loads more on a publically traded company as peoples pensions and family investments are gambled on this, particularly in a country like the USA where everything is left to the market) :you_crazy
