  • Ding gives 276 pies to charity – Yahoo! Eurosport UK

not sure how tall he is though, but he is South Chinese and people of this ancestry (like myself) are usually fairly short.

If I was 69 kilos at my height I would give the pies away as well (as much as like eating) as I would have already had too many… :laugh_at:

    who won the snooker?

I think the Chinese dude did, hence the gift of his weight in pies..

just weighed myself.. 67 kg! – no pies for me 😥

In my defence my mum has come to visit from Malaysia and has been feeding me, and if I’m not caning the chemicals like most people of SE Asian ancestry I have the appetite of a half-starved Siamese tomcat. I have been known to meow like one as well… (it is commonly said the national sport of Malaysia is eating :laugh_at:)

    67 is light!

at 1.62m height it does make a difference. I don’t mind being short, but short and fat is a no-no (and can result in health problems later in life).

I think this affect everyone when they calm down a bit and advance in years.

When I joined the Civil Service in 2002 you had to declare your height and weight on a health monitoring form (this was also used to select your office chair/desk so tall or short people did not get back problems). I was 57 kilos then (although still a speed freak). This means in 7 years I have gained the weight of a medium size badger..

I managed to find details of Vladmir Putin’s fitness régime (took a while as it seemed to be shrouded in Soviet secrecy) but it involves not touching a drop of alcohol and getting up at 6am to do a full hour of hard exercise before going to work, to me that is just torture!

how much does a medium sized badger weigh?

About 10 kilos. The weight of a badger varies with gender, season and food availability.
