Control Z are are a nu skool breakz production duo hailing from London. Hooking up at the award winning Pyrotechnic Radio, their first collaboration in the studio reflected their different musical backgrounds and the result was a genre busting fusion of drum ‘n’ bass and breakbeat.
Their debut release, Disko / Pain got regular plays from the likes of The Freestylers, Tayo, Deekline, Aquasky, The BreakFastaz, Autobots, Ed209, Distortionz, Sunz of Mecha, DJ Quest and many others, as did their Hardcore Beats party anthem ‘Badman’.
The duo are rapidly becoming known for their energetic Dj sets, which have rocked floors at nights such as Innovation, Raindance, Best of British, Payload and Brace yourself and have taken them to spain as headline acts.
.
FAR TOO LOUD (777, Broke, Breaks FM)
ar Too Loud is a breakbeat DJ/producer collective of three discerning chaps hailing from Guildford. The focus is not on one type of sound but on making and playing out good music – as long as it has tough basslines and driving beats. Dom, Olly and Oli all spur from a musical and technical background and bring ideas from an ever increasing range of influences, including jazz, rock and Star Wars, into a style of music that is turning more and more heads.
MadManSam (Digital Blashpemy, Nemesis Records)
MadManSam is the co-promoter of Digital Blashpemy, famous around the UK for their energetic psytrance productions. After attending the glade festival this year, Sam was hooked on breakbeat and we are more than happy to let him show you how he can rock the house!
Exciting times indeed for Plymouth breakbeat!
