Although alcohol doesn’t always help I think blaming booze or drugs for violence is merely an excuse used by people who lack self-control or enjoy being agressive and use it as a cop-out when they get arrested and are up before the police or court.
I get bare trashed sometimes and don’t go around kicking off at people.
If anything I tend to get a bit quieter as I compensate for things by being more concious about what I am saying or doing, and to assess potential flashpoint situations….
I also feel society is deteriorating and becomign more agressive anyway and because of this lots of people are on a short fuse anyway in any social situation, even friendlier places such as raves….
