    spaz you still got a gf? i always thought a good loving shag/hug/kiss etc all that jazz sorted out all anger :love:

    Yeah we’re still together man, almost 5 years now. It goes a long way to helping but sometimes the relationship itself can be just another part of why I’m getting angry, so it doesn’t always help if things between us aren’t great.

    @cheeseweasel:

    I’m living in student accomodation at the moment so I wouldn’t be allowed (even if I could afford) to keep a pet.

    So I had my first session, was a strange experience! Trying to drop the barriers that you usually keep pretty tight is hard! Generally was quite good though, going to get more intense next week apparently as that was just a preliminary session.

    good to hear mate, after a while they ‘ll become second nature and you’ll start to have a laugh

    Update time, I’ve had four sessions now and its going well! Apparently making very good progress and I have to say that I feel quite a lot happier!

    Thanks for your support everyone!

    this is really good to hear!!

    and dont forget YOU are the one making all the changes, the counsellor is just helping you to facilitate change!!

    It does feel good to chat – glad to hear its working for you.

    When I first moved to London I had 4 sessions as couldn’t settle into the city and missed my friends up the road.

    I also had a few sessions when my dad passed away.

    People say “it’s not for everyone”, I think that it definitely helps discussing your issues though a bad counsellor would make it a horrible experience!

    Sometimes telling a stranger makes everything a lot easier to handle – glad you are getting good results from the counselling. Counsellors have saved my life a few times now and proper helped me sort my head out.

    I have had 3 different psychiatric assessments and they ALL decided I was completely normal. Oh how I tried…

    BASTARDS! BASTARDS! FUCKING ABSOLUTE ARSEHOLES! Nope, didn’t work. Apparently everyone in the UK does that.
