  • Every generation has it die hard fanatics and followers, so what are you proud to be part of ?

For me I loved the harry potter books, they started when i was six, 1997 (time flies huh..that was 16 years ago now) and being a Bildungsroman I was there whilst the characters life unfolded. I probably wouldnt be into it npw as an adult but back then it really was something special.

At the moment im big into breaking bad. I just love it when monday comes and I get to sit on the endge of my seat thinking fuck fuck fuck….whats he going to do! Then divulging all the juicy gossip to my friends and we speculate wtf will happen to walt. (the bastard !) Also what with the internet now its great seeing all the show references and having a laugh about it.

Im starting to really feel the need to watch game of thrones now…

So what about you? Any trekkies in our mists? Lord of the rings fans ??

    I like Buffy and Supernatural!

An old work friend of mine used to listen to the buffy soundtrack (from the musical episode) in the kitchen. After I slept with him I gained CD privilages and we moved on to placebo.

Yeah Breaking Bad Mondays are awesome. Back in the day for me it was the X-files and Sega Master System.

I’m part of a big cult of party heads.

    Im a Grim Fandango fanboy

It may be 15 years old but it still has a big following.
Grim Fandango Network – Grim Fandango Fan Site
The DOD – Home – A Grim Fandango Fan Site

Somethings rotten in the land of the dead, and you’ve been played for a sucker.

“Your not the nurse here to give me my medication?”
~”I am here to ease your pain”
“I guess they couldnt save me, eh?”
~”No, but there is still a chance you could save me”

    Pokemon- Gotta Catch ’em all!

Tried my damned best and game pretty frickin close on red, blue, yellow and green. Got a bit lazy with gold and silver, had a bash at diamond and then at 21 decided maybe I should give crystal a miss. Everytime I see a new release I’m still tempted my it though.

I’ve been called a big cult on a few occasions!

Lol, I wonder what they could have meant then?

    It’s a mystery to me!

Harry Potter all the way baby! Oh and lucky charm cereal hmmmm

If you count computer game followings which I think are just as popular as TV series’s. Then I guess I was into the call of duty massive durring the MW1,MW2 and black ops era. Then I was a massive Battlefield 3 fanboy. I was also a big red dwarf fan way back when the original series’s were still being filmed (5 and 6 i mean not the first series) When they finally launched series 7 I saw it had turned to crap.

I guess we could say that free parties are cult followings if you look at the definition of the word cult it fits quite nicely.

Oh Addidas poppers!!! I’m sure I have been into more things, I was part of the playstaion generation if that counts?

not sure if liking the more “mainstream” trance producers counts as “cult following”, especially as I tend to judge them on the tracks I hear and not the image they have. I do have a lot of respect for Armin Van Buuren simply because he comes across as a genuinely decent person in normal life, compared to most British or American celebs. He also invests a lot in new talent via his labels and the competitions on the ASOT shows (although you have to know a bit of Dutch to unearth this).
