  • The BBC is making a documentary on legal highs and wants to hear from users. What’s good, what’s bad – worst and best moments?

Whether you’ve had the night of your life on them, or a terrible experience – we want to hear from you.

Police and MPs are having their say – so what do you think? If you’d like to talk more please get in touch by phone 0207 765 1210 or email Julia.ross@bbc.co.uk

If you’d just like to put a succinct totally anonymous viewpoint – just call this mobile number and leave us a phone message we can use in the film. We’ll make no attempt to contact or follow up on that call. We just want your viewpoint. You can leave that message on 07442 454 081.

what channel will this be shown on? BBC3?

BBC1 – you can email me direct if easier? julia.ross@bbc.co.uk

Whats the aim of the docu?
Are you hoping to prove or disprove a specific viewpoint?

Is Mr Nutt gonna be involved?

Julia – the least you can do in the current climate is give a full and accurate response to these questions (which are posed by adult license payers in the UK)

if you do not have the authority to do so (I am aware of the operational hierarchies of the BBC) then provide details of your line manager or producer so interested parties may contact them; as well as details of the project so interested viewers / listeners can find it.

I am a great supporter of public and community broadcasting and aware of the challenges facing the BBC so its time for its younger staff to make a new start with much greater integrity and transparency than the old days.

Tank Girl – the programme has quiet a wide remit – we are looking at the range of legal highs available, how they can be purchased and concerns that various doctors and toxicologists have about some of them. We don’t have an agenda or a specific viewpoint we are trying to further. And no, David Nutt isn’t involved.

It’s for a programme called BBC Inside Out London, and will be broadcast in January next year. We don’t have a definitive date yet.
Apologies if you didn’t think I was being transparent in my initial post.
