Be aware – police monitor this board

We spent a weekend running around Wiltshire. If you are going to advertise parties here be aware that if you give any indication of location the local constabulary will be given advanced warning. And whilst your party may only be for a few hundered smiley people, they don’t know that and will turn up with riot vans fearing the worst.

We ended up getting closed down twice in one night – hassle and upset. The police we spoke to were quite friendly – don’t think they really knew what to make of a makeshift cafe selling chai, pancakes and fruit smoothies – not exactly the work of hardened criminals. And because we were forced off site we didn’t get to clean up – another thing we always do.

Pity, that.

There does seem to be a lot of Babylon activity here in the East as well just recently. Seems as though there are no real criminals about to keep them occupied. Their main tatic here is to try and hassle you so much that you just pack up and go home. We had a birthday party at the weekend and they sent in about a dozen foot soldiers to move us on and they basically tried to frighten people with threats of arrest if people didn’t go when they spoke to them.

Fortunately the party continued until it’s planned finish time and as far as I know there was no arrests. The major thing is (I’m sure) is they don’t really know how to handle situations that are peaceful, or people who are curtious to them.

That was us in Corsham. We were followed about Wiltshire for ages so we decided to go to another county in the end.
That MOD site was in the middle of nowhere, shame we couldn’t stay. I was playing when they turned up which was a bit wierd. Had to turn off half the amps to begin with as a compromise, then pack it all up because they decided to seize the rig if we didn’t shut it down.

YEAH THAT WAS GUTTIN AS FUCK, WE WENT BACK TO TRIGS AFTER THAT, ENDED UP @ SOME PLACE DOWN BY A RIVER WITH A STAGE BUILT THERE. THE SOUND SYSTEM TURNED UP BUT NO DECKS, MY M8 AND I WENT TO GET THE DECKS N GOT LOST.
