Thats where you need a decoy – If a dog sits near you, through or spray a little something on someone else, or get the pepper out on your clothing –
On a side note, after running away from the Police and dogs, I got someone to bleach my tracks – just like dogs cant smell in water, their senses are confused with pepper, bleach and other household cleaners.
TBH – if all these events are in the UK a simple wedge by your package and covered in spices/pepper etc is enough. In massive events (unless you are in single file and they walk the dog up and down) thats where you may have issues.
Keep clothing clean, keep the drugs un-smellable and stashed in a safe place – do not carry paraphinalia of any kind as this gives them an excuse to strip search.
