Zeitgeist – The Movie
Absolutely fantastic. Covers a few areas over the most informative mind bending 2 hours you are likely to experience through a documentary. It’s well made, concise and clear, and the evidence and personal accounts seem true. Often with these things Im slightly sceptical, but but there’s alot of video evidence of news reports, actual press conferences ect.
Firstly covers religion in a way I never knew before. The links between most religions in the world, and as you compare they are all actually based on the same thing. It moves onto how religeon is now used as a controlling power through politicians, the moving onto who really controls the world. It also covers 9/11, and how international banks play a massive part in everything.
I used to enjoy the NWO stlye theories, but to be honest, the explanation giving in this doc is much more realistic and I have never been so shocked really.
If you have ever been interested in life, watch this.
I do often tend to get too excited about these things, but like I say, the evidence given is far too plentiful and credible for it to be bollocks.
but you do not just need to watch this film to know about 9/11..!!??
it only came out two years ago…
alright dom? hows it goin?
‘What I hate most about conspiracy theories today and also those who tell conspiracies, is how they create disclaimers of sorts, because they know what they are saying is easily proven incorrect. For example, Zeitgeist, the movie’s web site essentially says that the movie is not supposed to be the truth, but rather help people look for the truth. It is a ridiculous disclaimer in order to tell others that “if I’m wrong, I already knew it; it wasn’t meant to be true, just to help you keep an open mind.” ‘
LOL!

But you do Poly, it just so happens the film you watched and decided to follow wasn’t called Zeitgeist.

This isn’t a disclaimer. It’s explaining the movie isn’t about being able to answer the questions or bring forward ‘the truth’, it’s about presenting enough evidence to be able to ask the questions that conflicts with the stories we are led to believe is true.
The most effective way to reach out to people is by film and television, so it’s not neccessarily a money making machine. And if it is, then shit – I’d rather go make this film money then kick back and watch Disney’s Cinderella.
but there have been many many debunks of 9/11 which i have read before and honestly do believe
even south park says if u believe in 9/11 conspiracy you are a retard (that isnt a debunk but it is funny)

Then it’s obvious ain’t it – Cartman and the rest of the South Park gang are behind 9/11

is it factual?
Is there such a thing?
I think the massive question in life is how much “faith” you are going to put into other people. Afterall, anything you have seen or experienced yourself is open to misinterpretation, heresay, chinese whispers, lies ect ect. Everyone goes on about “Nah, don’t be daft it’s this”, or “But didn’t you read that”… Whereas noone knows fuck all either way.
Buuuut, it would be a sad life if we couldn’t make a an opinion even still but I suppose we’d all be daft and hypocritical if we put too much passion into these opinions.
Course there is exceptions where things are obvious, but for the rest of things…
I agree with Dom, basically he is asking the philosophical question is there is an ‘objective’ reality that we all experience ( a strain of thought associated with behaviouralism) or do we all see the world through our own lens view, i.e. are our views socially constructed (social constructivism) …
…personally i am on the social constructivism side of the argument……
……sorry to sound like a twat, but doing a political science degree and i guess some of it must be sticking cos i am starting to relay my course to arguments i see in the media/forums and even pissed up arguments with mates………
…..fuck i think i need to get a new hobby…….
