…. I had a light bulb moment a few months ago.
What with the recession going on and how it’s effecting my income I thought to myself, ‘If I’m going to be poor for the next year or so, I might as well be poor in another country’
Ergo, I’m leaving for Australia in 10 days or something on a years visa.
Whether I manage to survive the year is another thing but the way I see it either 2 things will happen:
a) stay in Oz for a year and then travel Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam after for 3 months or so….
b) Cannot survive on my income in Oz – so bugger off anyway to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam for 3 months. (thank fuck the place is cheapish eh??)
So, with a few stop overs along the way before I get to Oz I won’t be on here much after I leave – but i will return and unlike Jesus I shan’t take so long to do it… not that I made many posts on here anyway.
And so finally, if any of you guys happen to head to Melbourne at any time my door (providing I manage to get a room and not have to live out of a Tesco trolley) is open to all you guys, be it a place to crash or become a tour guide for the city
