perhaps cops thought this was some bizzare Western technique of suicide terrorism, the idea being to bombard the substation with harmonics of 50Hz whilst doing a Highland dance, until it went off sync and blew up..
apparently there were bagpipes in the Orient but only ancient Tibetans and other mountain based tribes played them and I expect China probably thinks England and Scotland are like China and Tibet which obviously doesn’t help matters…
