Anyone got access to this? (maybe people who are youth workers or similar?)
I’m getting increasingly concerned by the amount of news/crime-reports and anecdotal evidence from messageboards and other places which imply that British society is definitely becoming more violent, and younger people are more willing than ever before to use an amount of violence that could kill or seriously injure to settle their differences (despite knowing they may well serve a prison term).
We’re also approaching summer party season; and whilst parties remain the most friendly and trouble-free forms of social activity in Great Britain and beyond; I have over the years noticed increasing “flashpoints” where conflict occurs. Perhaps if we discuss ways of recognising and dealing with these situations, some could be nipped in the bud before they happen?
