I dont understand why people get in to using heroin but its a sad thing to hear of a death caused by any drug.

What can be done about it ?

You can’t say to the addicts not to buy heroin,because they risk their lives every time they buy this shit..

the only thing they can do [if they are going to buy it anyway] is to use half the dose to start with to allow them to assess how strong the heroin is before ingesting/inhaling/injecting the full dose – if they find it is very strong this may save their lives

Problem is people wont do that, especially if your sick and cooking up at a hundred miles an hour, like usual.

You just throw the bag in the spoon and bang up, maybe have a moan about hte size or the colour/texture, but theres really no way to tell.

I once cooked up and once I had filtered it it was all brick dust in the spoon, I still banged up because I was sick.

What is hard to understand I guess is that at that moment you need that drug, whatever the risks, and the sicker you get the more risks you will take.

Heroin takes over your mind, its a mind Vs body battle constantly,

There have been notices up around my CDT warning about deaths around here too.

I thank god im not still using every day

A third person has died and the police are once again warning users about a dangerous batch of heroin in Staffordshire.

The 3rd death is thought to have been from an overdose atthe moment.

Yeah, there has been so notices up in my clinic too, and I am all the way in Leeds!! My my does it travel!!

We had some gear up here a couple of years ago which was bashed with Rohypnol, no one died but there was some strangness going on!!
One lad lost 3 days, went back to work and they were like where the fuck have you been, he obviously didn’t have a clue as he thought it was the next day!! A couple of people crashed their cars, no fatalities, thank god A couple of people went over, but came round after a slap and a couple of mintues! You see you only hear about the deaths, but there are some pretty harsh things that go on not everyone hears about!!

Just wanna give all of us users out there a big hug :group_hug and huge support, it ain’t easy, but we’ll get through it!! Some days & nights I feel so not strong & I’m sure you all do, so if anyone wants to chat, pm me!!

I FULLY agree with ‘SD’ users don’t give a shit about whats in it just as long as it makes you feel better. I mean when the gear was bashed with Rohypnol I was like ‘Wicked’ lets get hammered, sad but true!!
