CzechTek 2005 will take place on private field legally borrowed by owner. Police has no title to prohibit or stop it.

Moderatorwhere in prague are people supposed to meet?
if there ever was a big festival in the UK and we just told everybody “go to London”, (particularly people from other countries), very soon the city would fill up with traffic and there would be loads of disruption to everyone else – people would then complain and the organisers of the event would get loads of trouble – even if it was a legal one.
In London there is sometimes “road rage” just on normal days, people fight in the streets and even fire pistols at one another (even though we are not supposed to have them) just because there is too much traffic on the the streets! (I don’t know though, perhaps CZ is more chilled out)
if the new government or cops are allowing this festival to happen, then it would be good to ensure that everyone gets to the right place at the right time, without causing anyone else in CZ disruption and problems.
If this festival goes well, all of us in the 24 other EU countries can use this as a reason to be allowed to hold similar events…

Moderatorthanks berry. Any chance of a translation of the notes underneath the English comment? They look like advice to ravers, which would perhaps be equally useful translated into English for the benefit of those coming from other countries.
