  • I will add to this when my brain is not made of pickle, but in short, it was a party

and we all like to party!

it was fat! didnt get back to home till 10pm!

true rave! proppa nice smiley peoples, wicked atmosphere, great location, old bill were sound! we proppa cleared the site of rubbish and took our rubbish bags with us, when we left site was spotless! and 1 rig was still going!

had a bit of hassle at the start as we got booted off the 1st location, but quickly re-orginised and plan b went off without a hitch! (well slight issue with parking but it quickly got resolved!)

loads of “proppa” rave music! and glad we were able
to have 2 absloute legends with us who have helpd shape the scene were in scene the late 80’s! if you were there you know who i mean! woop woop! they smashed the granny out of it and the atmosphere was proppa electric!

2 hour hardcore techno marathon on sunday morning was immense!

thunderbitch sounded sweet! ( she allways does!)

about 500/600 people, loads of fit women! what more could you ask for!

next time moonie you ll have to pop up and say hello!

ohh and if anyone has any photos can i have them please! think ive got about 5 all in all i know there were lots more taken!

devon parties are almost always fucking amazing would have loved to have gone but was my daughters birthday .. glad to hear it went well

Now I’m less pickled, it was fucking awesome! There are so many things about parties that are kind of personal and that you had to be there for, but a great vibe, wicked people, ran into some old mates who I totally didn’t expect to be there, and the music basically made me spaff.

I went down to devon on the chance I could get a lift, facebook was erupting with things like “I will pay £50 to anyone who will give up their seat for a lift to the party”, and “I’ve got £80, who wants to chip in the rest to rent a car for tonight?”, and I still managed to blag the ultimate blag and get there.

Only thing that went a bit wrong (and I don’t even feel that bad about it) was that I was selling nos out of a single shot canister, I sold enough to buy some mandy, then got all loved up and gave over 80 balloons away for free 😮

Minghead, give us a PM if you can, would love to see some photos 🙂

ive allways had fun down there, the only thing that i have issue with re devon parties is the music, farr too much fidget house and gay-rage! so it was nice going down and smashing out techno & hardcore! woop!

    I like Fidget :hopeless:

I do know how wanky it is, but I just can’t stay away!

I take it this is the party that Joel Andrews is missing from?

He must be on one hell of a trip or hes passed out somewhere, he will turn up at some point i think, a little bit fried.

yeah this is the one, i really hope you are right, we are all very very worried.

hoping to get some positive news soon

hope your lad is ok… there are so many places to fall down and get lost on dartmoor… when school kids do 10 tors on dartmoor even the mountain rescue and marines won’t go up there to search for people if the weather gets bad :/

Dartmoor is a big place, he could be sober and very lost, and it could still take ages to find him. If he has some common sense he should be fine. I hope that’s the case anyway.

Dartmoor missing man Joel Andrews’ friends join search Devon and Cornwall Police say Joel Andrews’ disappearance appears to be out of character Friends and family of a man who went missing from a rave on Dartmoor have joined a police search for him.

Joel Andrews, 24, of Caldicot, Monmouthshire, was last seen at the Fernworthy Reservoir area near Chagford in the early hours of Sunday.

Specially trained officers from Devon and Cornwall Police’s Tactical Aid Group and Local Policing team are searching the area he disappeared.

Police said his disappearance was described as out of character.

Mr Andrews was wearing a grey Animal hooded top and jeans and a dark green waist-length jacket.

Det Insp Brett Mitchell, who is leading the inquiry, said: “We now know that Joel was last seen at midday on Sunday 22 May and he was still at the site where the rave was held.

“I would urge anyone who attended and may have seen Joel to please contact police as they may have a vital piece of information that will allow us to find him.”

His cousin, Emma Scott, said it was “really nice that people are putting in the effort”.

She said: “Everybody’s pulled together to help us try to find him.

“The more coverage we can get the better, because we just want to get him home now.”

A Facebook page has been created by friends who joined the search for Mr Andrews.
