Hi :weee:

Firstly im newly registered to the forum but i discovered it a couple of weeks ago and ive been gaining valuable snippets of useful information from it ever since!

Basically on Monday night went out with some friends and tried speed for the first time. Bought it from a reliable source and it came as a whitey/grey paste (hence base). Overall had a good night out and enjoyed myself. The comedown wasnt great but it certainly wasnt worse than anything i have had after a night out on a couple of pills before, and i coped with it quite easily.

I didnt buy very much of the speed but as it was my first time i thought i would be sensible and take it easy so i only had about half of what i bought. Having just looked at it again for the first time since Monday, its now dried out into a kind of powdery substance. My question is can i still use this or is the speed now past its “shelf life” as it were? If i can still use it what i can expect? Will it have gotten stronger or weaker? I bombed it last time and would probably do the same again if that makes any difference.

I realise that these questions are quite hard to answer in the world of illegal sunstances but any help would be much appreciated!

Hi !

Just a quick answer:you speed’s still good,just a little bit weaker maybe.just keep it hermeticaly closed (and in the fridge if you want),and enjoy it at your next party !!!

the base should will fine like that, its stronger fresh (keep the paste in your fridge to stay like that) but theres not usualy a lot of difference in it

hi it’ll still be fine your supose to keep it in the freezer to stop it from evaporatin n dryin out it’ll be weaker tho

How does it get weaker as it evaporates?

I’m intrigued I thought pastey base was only a marketing blag to sell the stuff for more money (kindof like damp weed).

thats just the way it is its supposed to be moist if it ent then it ent base if you get it n its powdery den its bin cut n wont be as strong but if its moist then more than likely it purer n alot stronger

I’m sure thats an urban myth.

As far as I understand it when speed is made its a condensation reaction that when making speed you end up with a chemical that in order to turn it into speed you need to disolve the first one in ether (not sure on the actual chemical but its some osrt of solvent liquid) then allow it to evaporate off til you end up with paste.

If you want to dry it off you can and its far nicer on your nose as its less contaminated with your original solvent but its not as cost effective when you sell drugs by weight to do it that way.

Although about it being cut it is equally as easy to cut moist base as you when its moist you can hit it with another powder which then retains some of the moisture and it all looks like one.

(all this is my understanding and is in no way definitive I’m just saying what I think to be true and if anyone knows better feel free to correct me)

your wrong the only reason people think wet speed is stronger is because its harder to tell how much your taking , your speed will be no weaker than when it was pastey my friend some people just prefer it that way enjoy

speed is hygroscopic [attracts water to itself] which is why strong base can turn to a liquid goo if not stored in a hermetically sealed container or in a freezer

If its dried out then its been cut with something [not necessarily a bad thing as pure speed base is evil stuff to take in terms of effect and taste] – dont worry about it [obviously it will be lighter now too so be careful as the same volume may give a stronger effect……]

I always hear that base is cut with lots of stuff, and raj, you say this is often a good thing. Just out of interest, what does it tend to be cut with? No doubt there are lots of horror stories about all sorts of nasty stuff its been cut with, but whats it usually done with when done correctly?

Glucose powder is a nice thing to cut it with if you want to cut it [lots of other stuff gets used such as cornstarch etc – mostly fairly harmless stuff] or fructose powder is another nice thing [you can buy those at a chemists normally]
