      thanks Angel ,i’m ok :group_hug

I’ve been guilty in my time of bein a passenger in a car driven by someone who’s not of this planet. Havin said that i havent done it for years now, I try not to put myself in the position.

Cars are tonnes of moving metal, adding drink or drugs is dangerous.

If you don’t care about your own life have a thought for other peoples.

BUT how many so called ‘law-abiding’ citizens are driving round quite happily on lorazepam or voltarol or any of the oh so common legal prescribed drugs that affect you just as badly :exclamati :exclamati :exclamati

Are they going to be testing people for those substances or just the nasty dirty underground ones? :bounce_fl 3 guesses

if the feds use the ion-track technology (the electronic sniffer dogs) as the initial test they could check for just about anything.

benzodiazepines are now part of the party drugs scene in many areas anyway (mostly as “comedown” drugs but people are now rinsing them daily as well just like the oldies do with their legit prescriptions).

Even so, traffic cops usually only stop people if an offence has been committed or they have sufficient suspicion that someone may be DUI (such as when a rave is closed down….)

personally, i dont think its a good idea to drive under the influences of anything!!!

in principal i dont agree with drink/drug driving…

but i’d much rather get into a car with someone pilled up or stoned, than pissed off their tits…

also when i have got lifts with my mates they have been more careful when on drugs. and also none of them would ever drive drunk, but they all happily drive stoned etc.
