it is not you (or anyone else making these requests) who gets locked up. The BBC in the UK monitors posts like this on the public forums (at Caversham, a suburb of Reading SE England).
Every so often they run a “shock, horror, young people are using the Internet to buy/sell drugs” on the “Newsbeat” youth news channel; their journos also send any “useful information” to GCHQ Cheltenham who work with their counterparts in foreign nations to identify the young adults who are selling larger amounts of MDMA or other drugs for profit.
US companies like Snapchat make their money from gathering info about (mostly young) people and mobile phone companies worldwide are also dependent on the revenue from the younger generations. In most parts of the world pre-paid SIM cards are available to any mobile user of any age.
If a drug user/dealer comes to notice of the Police for any reason (even unrelated) which causes their online activity (fixed or mobile) to be relevant and anyone in their contacts is below age 18 (even their own siblings or children) the cops worldwide can use “family/child protection legislation” to get any info they want.
A vast number of MDMA dealers are now parents; many are single parents who in UK and IE are judged harshly anyway and often always under some monitoring (especially if the former partner is causing the authorities to have to do this for safety reasons).
The others in NL (especially online dealers) are younger adults in middle class areas who do it as a side source of income; but parcels and letters from there are routinely inspected by both NL Douane and UK Border Force (even if their contents are legit).
The same applies to anything sent directly from China.
Post within the UK is increasingly also double checked (even if it causes a timed service to miss its agreed delivery date) at border points including between England and Scotland – this has got to the point that Amazon now use a separate transport method (presumably known and agreed by the Customs authorities) to get their stock to Scotland via Germany.
There is also the concern about IEDs being sent in the post; not just from the same lot who were doing it in the 1970s/80s but more recently extreme right “lone wolf” attacks.
In UK and IE a young low level dealer gets about 18 months to 2,5 years prison (actual time served even if the sentence is longer).
In NL they often do not get prison at all unless the pills are contaminated with dangerous PMMA; but all the money they have earned is confiscated to the last €0,01, they are fined as well for however many pills they had (depends on region) and they also have to do community service work every weekend.
If they drive their license is suspended and about €500 traffic fine added to this lot. The money is automatically deducted from their salary/wages or any govt benefits they are receiving. If they are aged over 30 they also get referred to compulsory mental health treatment as its assumed that someone who cannot obey agreed laws by that age may well have some personality disorder.
This is why MDMA availability fluctuates and the stuff cannot be easily found in some areas for a few months/year or so.
