Well, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get a few (about 10) ecstasy tabs past customs and sniffer dogs? I just want them for personal use, so hugely elaborative plans are out and I can’t buy any where I’m going. I heard one idea about putting them in a container with coffee to hide the smell from sniffer dogs.

Just wondering if anyone has tried and succeeded, or failed trying to smuggle a few pills?

TBH I would say it is not worth the risk.

Trying to bring in stuff across borders is treated far more harshly by most jurisdictions than mere posession for personal use inside the country, you will be thought of as not just flouting the laws but violating a nations sovereignty by smuggling in contraband. “Just 10 pills” can get you in very serious shit (including facing the death penalty!) in some parts of the world.

In many nations the Customs/Border authorities have greater enforcement powers and penalties than the civillian Police service, and tend to attract nationalistic types who treat foreign “criminals” harshly.

if stuff is hard to get in the country you are visiting, it may just be that unfortunately the authorities have been very efficient at clamping down on drug use. if you can’t handle going to this country without drugs, perhaps you may consider changing your holiday destination!

In countries where it is extremely difficult to obtain drugs carrying 10pills which could easily have a street value of up to £30 each in that country will constitute intent to supply.

Think very carefully as GL said about why it would be difficult to find the drugs in the country? As it could be partially due to the tight borders controls.

I think its best just to leave it, would you risk years in prison or at least a few thousand pounds fine, even death (depending on where you’re going) for a few good nights out.

A boy i went to school with got caught trying to smuggle extacy into thailand, i do beleive they did a documantary on him a few months back he was supposed to get the death penalty luckily for him or unlucky depending on which way you see it it got reduced to life imprisonment in a thai prison. I would seriously say its not worth the risk at all and covering the smell up with coffee is all well and good but they search passangers going out of the uk aswel as people coming into the country.

Coffee will hide the smell, but sometimes it is harder to hide a small amount, rather than a large amount, so my advice is to hide them up-yer-bum! Sniffer dogs can’t sniff there!

The only really foolproof way AKAIK is to swallow them in a condom. This way is a bit grim though.

Well, poor old Grooverider has been banged up in Dubai since November, just for a bit of weed. He was in court the other day, and got adjourned till February 5th. Thought missing Christmas n NYE was enough, but they’re still hanging on to him. He could get about 4 years, if the judge gets out the wrong side of bed on the 5th. (will come back with a link to story in a bit)

If it was me thinking of chancing it, that scenario would be enough to put me off. I mean – he’s a big name DJ, and i am assuming he’s pretty well networked, and can afford a good brief. But he’s still sat in a cell! I wouldn’t fancy my chances much tbh. :you_crazy:bad_idea:- (soz, couldn’t find a “worried” smiley just now!)

Anyway, depending on where u r going, there are alternatives – legal ones, not quite the biznizz i know, but better than seeing my final days out on Death Row I’d say. Or- just think of it as a bit of detox, face it we all gotta do it from time to time, our bodies aren’t designed to withstand the levels of abuse our brains wanna go for, not ALL the time, lol.

And if u don’t have anything for a short spell, think what it’ll be like when u do! Wallop, you will be well-spanered that nite! :crazy_dru

Not a nice predicament. Mind u, i can’t see myself going anywhere near customs without at least checking my pockets! But then I don’t travel as often as the Rider, so he praps got a bit casual about it? Whatever the case, having your freedom and choices taken away is so harsh, especially too for his family/extended family/friends. And over the holidays too!

Pretend you’ve got a medical complaint and hide them in some aspirins etc!

Ooh nice idea, Put a massive dildo and some lube in there as well preferably if it’s a male friend! Imagine them getting searched by customs and them pulling that bad boy out! :laugh_at:
