  • good luck man, ill be doing a month for ramadan, my first time ever… im worried about losing muscle, but hay… itll help my health, and ill put it back on in no time! 🙂 its all for good cause

    Yeah some of my family on my dad’s side are/were Jewish … my dad was brought up Jewish, but doesn’t really believe in it, just likes to know about it as it’s his heritage. He eats pork a fair bit, and if you were only to look at his belly, in the last few years could easily mistake him as a pig also. :laugh_at:.

    Nice thread. Well fasting is a good activity and very helpful to maintain weight. Its a good thing to reduce weight. Fasting is good for our stomach and prevents us from many diseases and infections.

    thats funny cos its actually what im doing now. obviously its not fasting (or eating spam >.>) but im on the paleo diet now for just over a week and i consume no processed sugar and no starchy carbs (sugar), and get my sugars from fruit and some non-starchy veg. i was quite strict on the 1st few days, but it was too much and so i now have one meal a day with a small amount of rice maybe and one large fruit and spinach smoothie in the day. im getting some pretty amazing sleep doing this and noticing im losing some fat, despite eating quite a lot of protein and some fat too. my consolation for not having carbs in the morning is……….. bacon! 🙂
