recently I have been noticing a lot more Lassies with some mega beards n’ tashes coming on. Like Maybe in the last year and a half I have never seen so much females with facial hair. Have these girls always had this and been hiding it before and now they have decided to embrace it?? There is one super hot chick who comes into where I work and has cringing bum fluff coming out of her chin and blonde side mustache. Do these girls know whats happening on their face? should i bring it to their attention? Is the 70’s coming back in fash? I don’t find it sexy. maybe some blokes do, IDK man wtf is going on?

I think we get more male hormones through our food, drinking water, birth control pills and other kinds of medicin and that can be the reason.

In some cases, the extra androgen comes from medications. Some birth control pills as well as certain steroids contain androgens, or have effects similar to androgens. Other drugs indirectly cause the body to make extra androgen hormones; these include some medicines to treat schizophrenia, seizures, migraine headaches, bipolar disorder and high blood pressure.

I can also be some illnesses

Occasionally, an abnormality in the ovaries, the adrenal glands or the pituitary gland can cause overproduction of androgens. One such (common) condition is polycystic ovarian syndrome. Your doctor can rule out these causes with various blood tests.

I lived through the 70s/80s and although women in Northern Europe may not have removed hair from other parts of their bodies which were not normally on display (outside “adult entertainment”) they did not all have beards either (maybe you had decided to watch the Eurovision whilst high and thus got confused :wink:)

I notice you use the term “lassie” which though not offensive or non PC (no more so than meisje (NL) / Mädchen (DE) ) suggests you are in Northern England or Scotland.

In these areas the 1970s/80s are coming back but in a different way, I’ve noticed that in spite of the economic depression there is still a lot of work there in factories/light industry, and call centres (which employ a lot of young women). They are still high pressure jobs where even if they aren’t exposed to as many harsh chemicals due to EU rules they may well need to take the medicines that Angel mentions which would cause those hormonal imbalances.
