As the title suggests have a couple of grams of good Charles. I’ve had it before so know it’s legit. It’s a bit crumbley. Before I’ve always had a microwave so can do hot plate. No microwave today. Any alternative solutions would be amazin!

    Thanks!!!!

put it on a plate under a halogen lamp – these give off as much heat as light and are being phased out in favour of LEDs etc but I think they are still available.

You might still have one as a desk or table lamp (there were quite a few small ones using GU10 (230V) or MR16/MR11 (12V, often found in cheap china table lamps with a big 230V to 12V trafo in the base). There are others sold as replacements for old GLS light bulbs (the ones you have in the ceiling).

A desk lamp with a robust metal shade would be good for this purpose (you don’t want any sort of shade that might overheat and set on fire, as the panic could also cause the plate of cocaine to be upset).

NB: As it is Saturday night and you may not have a 24 hour supermarket in your area if you end up having to borrow a lamp from some other fitting make sure the whole thing is isolated and let it cool down first – you don’t want to get burned/sparked and moving a hot lamp knackers the filament so it is likely to go defective in the new fitting and thus would be useless for the intended purpose.

If they don’t have a microwave I’m assuming they don’t have a halogen lamp lol. Am gonna imagine the nuclear reactor you were gonna suggest next is out as well; lol.

presumably there is some source of electricity or Hannimal wouldn’t be able to use her computer :laugh_at:

There may even still be GLS lamps (the original incandescent “light bulbs”) where she is unless they’ve all been swapped for CFL or LED

these days I try not to be as reckless as I once was and was trying to think of something fairly safe and practical for a person in a hurry who might be less likely to have a house full of random electrical accessories – there are actually two E14 candle glow lamps and an E14 desk lamp fitting (though currently containing a blacklight tube) in the room I am currently sitting in :laugh_at:

Overclock your CPU to around 6Ghz and put it between the CPU and heatsink and play crysis……

if it wasn’t for the numerous ventilator fans inside a PC (and that we don’t know if Han is using a desktop, a laptop or a mobile) that wouldn’t even actually be a completely harebrained idea :laugh_at:

I did out of curiosity check the surface temperature of a laptop charger but this is only 37 degrees Celsius across a fairly small (but flat) surface area which might be too little and too slow…

If I didn’t know better I’d think you thought I was a moron lol.

there are many cheap China “multimedia PC boxes” around used for running Kodi etc that do not contain ventilator fans (to avoid the noise nuisance) with ARM/Broadcom chips capable of running full HD video; these do of course run quite hot. I could genuinely envisage a North European hacker and stim fiend (and there are plenty) successfully constructing something they could safely rest on the chip heatsink or part of the case (without stopping the airflow or short circuiting anything) precisely for this purpose…

Any resemblance to any person, living or dead, regardless of being a member here, is entirely coincidental.

I was pretty drunk when I sent this. Thanks for the replies. I don’t have halogen lamps etc. But it was simple, put playe in oven……bang…..done

Glad you sorted it out, with no help at all from us lol.

I did briefly wonder about whether there was an oven available; but being a bloke who can just about cook but equally often has to pull the battery from the smoke alarm next to the kitchen when doing so; only has one baking tray and is still unsure exactly what crockery you can put in an oven without it shattering decided that was even more risky than even working at height to recover “old lamps for new” :laugh_at:

      Thanks!!!!

there were already another person who had a such question, am not sure if my poor english is understanding it right, but if the problem is humidity, there is an very simple solution using a desiccator.

Here is a youtube link of a dessicator with a really simple montage to dry anything,
from your powder having been get wet, to the cristals resulting after a recrystallisation or the result of a filtration.

I loved to made you a little scheme, but the 2 minutes youtube Link folowing is really simple and clear enough :

THIS IS IN NO WAY AN HELP COMMENT INTENDED TO USE DRUGS, BUT INTENDED TO USE GOOD DRUGS IN A GOOD STATE!!!lol

(My damaged brain overloaded with too many types of drugs was thinking it was Sodium Chloride, which is a good humidity capture Molecule I thought, but it seems the holes of my Emmental cheese Brain in my head are getting wider)
