  • Hi i have for sale my acid lab it consists of the following

1x x0xb0x(best and closest tb303 clone ever!) modded by Christian Hartig(SubStyler) who runs über x0xsh0p.de. It has his xoxshop.de 2VCO mod(which is exactly the same as the vco in the tb303) also has the gate on forever mod he also did some tweaks in the vcf section. It has been flashed with the latest SokkOS firmware(1.9)
    1x MXR M-104 Distortion+ Pedal
1x Yamaha RM1X Sequencer/Drum machine/Synth which has just recently had the rom chip upgraded to version 1.13 so now the midi section works perfectly in sync with the x0xb0x

All are in perfect working order

Sad day for me but needs must as i need to upgrade my cdj’s and i dont really get much time to play with my acid lab these days :'(

    Offers around 550GBP
Located in Peterborough, UK, Cash on collection prefered but can ship at buyers expense if unable to collect or overseas

    Hello,
My rm1x got damaged – the screen is broke and it won’t turn on – sometime in the last few years in storage.

I miss it. I have a tr909 and tb303 an akai z8 sampler and a similar cv to midi box as you. It was all a very kick ass computerless hardware rig. And my yamaha is doa.

I’m in California US, what are the chances you are selling just the rm1x at a sweet price so I can sync my hardware up again?

Shipping would probably be a lot. I know that thing is heavy.

Curious if it’s still for sale and what you’d sell the yamaha for, by itself. and then if overseas is even feasable.

    thanks
I dig the setup you got there props!

It might be worth while PMing him if you can PM, as it may trigger off an email notification to him if he’s subscribed to this thread. I’m don’t think he’s been back on the forum since March this year (unless he’s just viewing and not posting).

i missed this!! ive wanted a x0x for fucking ages almost got one but stupidly didn’t when i was fucking minted (STUPID)…. i still look at them on ebay on the regs to this day 🙁

rm1x is a bit poo though muuuch better off forking out for the rs7000!! those things are fucking BLISSFUL

Mat Weasel Busters Hardcore skills vol 2 – YouTube – YOU CAN’T SAY THEY AREN’T!!

having looked all over the site they don’t seem to sell whole ones and the only person on here what could build one to a reliable standard would probably be Pat.

My soldering isn’t good enough, can just about do basic repairs and cable monkey type stuff for big connectors. And even then I am lazy and will buy a ready made set of leads or other module. (the Germans and Dutch don’t buy these things, they tend to make them from scratch)..

my friend who is buying the Hameg / Rohde & Schwarz scope/logic analyser could do it though.. (and yes, he is part German :laugh_at:)

the below (from the original project) represents some fucking amazing level of dedication and attention to detail.

„We have two–count ’em, two–analog electrical engineers with too much time on their hands working on this project. We measured every waveform and counted every cycle to give you the best sound…its just like the original because it IS the original.“

    die x0xb0x

but there will be delays to new developments as the current xoxbox dude got a dream job here doing brainy science type stuff so that will takeup most of his time..

So how much acid could I expect to produce with this lab?
