Cant read French but I managed to use Google translator, downloaded it but keep getting some sort of massage in French so I couldn’t be arsed any more with it.

    English please people 😉

If you dont have telly only a computer i’d recomend getting a digital tv adapter for your computer. You can get em for less than £40. USB and on the one i had you could record from tv to hard drive which was pretty cool.

the reason why I asked is due to the fact that I live in a bad reception area. I can only just get CH4 so a digital receiver wont help at all.

I have been working on this and still finding the soultion to our promblem.
I want to watch the football at home sometimes so I have had a few experiments with different software.
Let me tell you TigerMoff it’s a pain in the arse to get a nice stream into your computer but I haven’t gave up yet. I’m trying this H264 codec tonight and then try and tune into http://www.TVNettet.com.
I’ll keep experimenting and I’ll let you know.

Someone pointed me at this site today: http://www.beelinetv.com/

It just gives you links to the MMS/RTSP/etc streams from TV stations worldwide, bypassing all their badly programmed front pages so that you can actually view the stream.

Mind you internet TV can seriously knock a hole in your ISP bandwidth limits …

All Ive found is this one http://www.viewmy.tv/view-online-tv.aspx

Its OK but no freeview. Loads of channels of stuff to watch tho and a community to go with it. Not really seen much of it but it looks quite pro and polished.

I dont have a bandwidth limit. There are 5 of us in this house and some of us torrent and most live stream movies and TV. Havent had any complaints from Virgin yet, and with 10mbps Im sure we would have done by now.

After experimenting with most software, I have given up. As you say Tigermoff and Leveret its all about that bandwith.

But I have been looking at http://www.beelinetv.com/ Thanks Leveret 😉
Not getting the greatest pictures but what did I suspect.

Im not sure about these pay channels over the internet as I am pretty sure this will have to work of some Bandwith and to pay for channels I dont want seems a waste.
So Ill be going down the bar to watch the footy and hopefully not getting moaned at by my girlfriend.

    Oh well I tried.
